Norwegian Cruise Line makes waves with the debut of Norwegian Viva in Puerto Rico

The new Norwegian Viva will be the industry’s newest ship to set sail from San Juan, Puerto Rico, this season

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the innovative cruise company, today announced the arrival of its second Premium Class ship, the all-new Norwegian Viva, to the beautiful shores of San Juan, Puerto Rico, for a season. of Caribbean cruises until April 2024, thus becoming the most recent ship to set sail from “The Island of Enchantment”.

The ship, recently christened in Miami with an all-star cast of Latin artists, is set to embark tonight on its first seven-day Caribbean voyage, offering guests a warm escape through the most picturesque and sought-after tropical islands.

From now until April 2024, Norwegian Viva will homeport in San Juan and offer intensive seven-day port cruises throughout the Caribbean, allowing guests to wake up each day in a new tropical paradise. The itinerary includes visits to Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. John’s, Antigua; Bridgetown, Barbados; Castries, Saint Lucia; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; and St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. Featured is the voyage that offers an unparalleled experience without days at sea, ensuring travelers make the most of their time between the stunning destinations.

In April 2024, Norwegian Viva will set sail on Mediterranean and Greek Islands itineraries, giving guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of Europe. This expansion of the ship’s offerings underscores NCL’s unwavering dedication to providing diverse and enriching travel adventures for its guests.

Norwegian Viva is the second of six ships in the company’s innovative Prima Class and is the sister ship to the award-winning Norwegian Prima. The upgraded Premium Class offerings prioritize the guest experience and raise the bar for cruising with world-class cuisine, the brand’s most spacious layout yet, and exceptional onboard activities, including the Viva Speedway, the three level races.
