The event that will take place in person, from February 23 to 25 in Corferias- Bogotá
Taking into account the importance of tourism, as a development engine for the economy, there will be a greater participation of Colombian destinations in the 2022 version of the ANATO TOURIST SHOWCASE. The event that will take place in person, from February 23 to 25 in Corferias-Bogotá, and that has positioned itself as one of the most important in Latin America.
“We are very positive with the realization of this version of the ANATO Tourist Showcase. We see that more and more local government authorities show interest in being part of the ANATO TOURIST SHOWCASE and displaying its attractions, as this space is ideal for establishing or strengthening business contacts that allow them to display the portfolio of products and services that they have prepared for offer to travelers”, explained Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO.
Like every year, and thanks to Fontur, through parafiscal resources, the 32 departments of Colombia will be present at the event. However, for this opportunity there is interest from national companies to participate, through their territorial entities in independent spaces such as: Girardot, Barichara, Armenia, Villa de Leyva, Soacha, Monterrey and Buenaventura.
Likewise, for the first time, there will be the participation of Sincelejo, Pasto, Tumaco, Yopal, Cajicá, Riohacha, Leticia, Granada, Tenjo and La Dorada.
“To date, we have a record of 8,500 registered. We estimate that, for this version of the event, we will have a growth in the income of professional participants of 20%”, concluded the union leader.
