As a result of the reform of the emblematic Hotel Apolo, close to the Port of Barcelona, the Fira and Las Ramblas, the hotel reopens its doors tomorrow, April 4, converted into the new INNSiDE Barcelona Apolo, breathing to the maximum the identity of this innovative brand, thanks to the architecture project of ASAH (Álvaro Sans Arquitectura Hotelera).
Its 314 rooms have been completely remodeled, with a contemporary, urban and inspiring design, among which the spacious The Loft and The Townhouse stand out, equipped with a yoga mat, bluetooth speaker, USB and wireless charger, among others. In addition, all rooms include a courtesy minibar and ecological amenities.
The reform project has placed a special focus on the creation of new common spaces to enhance “life” within the hotel, faithful to this brand that promotes social gatherings and the creation of informal work areas, in a modern environment, spontaneous and carefree.
Thus, for example, the reception area has been transformed into an Open Living Lounge, a common hallmark of all the brand’s hotels. This is the hotel’s center of activity: a space open to interaction, which combines the possibility of working, sharing experiences with other clients, renting a bicycle to enjoy the city or buying a souvenir from a selection of local arts and crafts.
With a total investment of close to 8 million euros, the hotel is also launching renovated restaurant concepts that fill the lobby with movement and animation, such as the new Bite Box space, an informal bar and grab & go service with ready-to-eat dishes. consume, open 24 hours.
