FITUR 2023 prepares for a new great edition

From January 18 to 22, 2023, the 43rd edition of FITUR 2023 will take place. IFEMA MADRID’s call to the world tourism sector takes place at a time when the increase in activity places the industry on the path to recovery and opens a scenario of very positive expectations.

FITUR, one of the main international tourism fairs and the most important in its role as a hub with Latin America, is already working on the configuration of a first-rate global revitalization event, reaffirming its role as the largest business platform for the sector, bringing together the best tools and an entire offer aimed at showing professionals the latest trends, with a special focus on sustainability and innovation.

The offer of the new edition will be strongly marked by specialization, represented throughout its different sections such as: FITUR KNOW HOW & EXPORT, oriented towards internalization; FITURTECHY, with leading topics such as big data and artificial intelligence; FITUR TALENT, with an emphasis on professional training in the tourism industry; FITUR SCREEN, will address the link between tourism and audiovisual; FITUR LGBT + focused on the diversity of destinations and the LGBT segment; FITUR CRUISES, dedicated to the cruise industry; FITUR MICE, meeting point for meeting tourism; and FITUR NEXT, promoting sustainability. Other relevant sections are FITUR WOMAN and FITUR LINGUA. FITUR will also continue its hybridization formula through FITUR LIVEConnect.

According to the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (INGUAT), the union of forces with the fair, as a Partner Country, constitutes a broad international platform that will show Guatemala as amazing and unstoppable, according to its objective of positioning the main tourist attractions of the country on a global level. country.

The general director of IFEMA MADRID, Juan Arrizabalaga, has underlined that “for FITUR it is of special importance to establish this strategic alliance with Guatemala, which will help to enhance its recognition as a preferred destination and its international tourism positioning.
